DDF initiated a dairy development program in early 90s and as a result today there is a significant growth in milk production in the area. |

Rearing milking cows is very well accepted by the villages as a secondary income generating activity that gives a cash flow in every 15 days to meet the day to day house hold expenses.
Going further DDF has established a model dairy with 01 area CO3 pasture with 10 animals as a show case to the community who would like to star up or improve dairying as an enterprise.
