As per the Vision of Dambadeniya Development Foundation, the ICT makes major impact on development of the area. When the development process commenced in 1992, the ICT education also rooted with great expectations. This has been carried forward through the great leadership given by individuals and Government Educational Institutions. University of Kelaniya – Department of Industrial Management has given their fullest co-operation to provide proper career guidance for village students.

Now, the ICT Centre of Dambadeniya Development Foundation earned a prominent place with high quality/quantity in the North Western Province. This Institution also registered under Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, a government institution which provides National Skill Standards for Technical and Vocational Education and training system in Sri Lanka.

Being the leading ICT trainer for the area at grass root level, have established a main centre at Narammala city and seven more village level ICT centers.

The village level ICT Training Centers was established, to overcome the traveling, financial difficulties faced by many village students. These centres are managed and maintained by the village development association, which includes the Temple Priest, Grama Sevaka, Samurdhi Officer, School Principals and retired private/public sector professionals. Development of curriculums, quality assurance, Lecture trainings and maintenance of the Computers are done by the Dambadeniya Development Foundation.
